I just saw a black GXP for under $10k.

What does a entry level luxury car (3 series, A4, C, IS, etc) have that a loaded Sonata/Camry/Accord/Malibu/6, etc have? Not a huge difference these days in terms of features available that are usable day to day. I sat in a Model 3 recently, maybe compared to a MB C class it is down market but it isn’t terrible…
Free ride? He is talented and lucky enough to be paid to do this. What a cool job.
A quick search finds that the WLTP yields roughly 10-12% more range than the EPA numbers.
It will get just as covered as the back up camera does all winter long or when it rains. I just clean it with a wipe of my finger out of habit before getting into the car.
I hail from upstate NY, where I spent half of my life, have seen it all before as well. We are lucky in MA for what we do have - great education, good access to healthcare, etc but the public employees here are some of the fattest cats around. The public payrolls that we can all view are fairly sickening. Not sure…
You mis-spelled Massachusetts. Here in MA, they didn’t calculate properly when going to all electric tolling, saying that the credit card company charges are eating into the money paid by the tolls. How can this happen? How else are people supposed to pay for something that you are billed for and can’t hand over cash…
For me it is the front view as they come at you on the road. Something about the low hood (illusion because of the the headlight style?) and the tall, round top.
I am guessing that the ZR2 will be better on pavement as well, right?
When I was looking at 6's a few years ago, Werner had some of the best prices within 100-150 miles of Boston, all on the web page. Mattie Imports was the same for when I bought my ‘12 Passat TDI, more or less accepted the great deal they had on the website, they told me what I would get on my trade as I was driving to…
So tell me, if you felt bad about paying less taxes, did you elect to pay more than you owe to the state to make up for it?
So everyone has to pay because you are too stubborn to change your ways?
I went in to a Tesla store near Boston last Sunday to see if I even fit in a Model 3. Fit very similar to a 3 series I sat in a few years ago which means me at 6'4" in the front makes it quite difficult to fit someone behind me (even a child with the way feet dangle, etc). I asked about the mid-range option and even…
That is the womans play normally. Coming back from Nordstrom Rack or similar type store justifying a non-essential buy saying “...but I saved $XX money...!” She will do it weekly, you are doing it once. The logic is solid.
If we average all of the areas in the US, absolutely other regions are cheaper but I would bet there are far more people living in the higher cost electricity regions than low cost. New England and most of the northeast are fairly high. Even with that, this area is crawling with Teslas and other EVs. Just hope they…
My point was that a hybrid or plug in hybrid would give you similar results. On top of the ~$60 for electricity, I fill up probably 2.5 times per month, usually around 12+ gallons, for ~$75. The real bonus is less time filling up.
You have the mpgs wrong. You are giving the highway mpgs as the combined mpgs. The mpgs are just average for this size SUV, nothing better than you could get in a comparable sized Buick Enclave years ago or even an Atlas today. In the real world, it will likely get what I get in our 2014 Enclave, mid teens for mostly…
Same here for my Sonata PHEV Limited. It is one of the best laid out and most usable interface, no lag that would bother you, buttons and knobs and all clearly laid out. Can even do 90%+ with gloves on.
