Genesis. After dealing with VW service vs Hyundai service, neither are that great but the Genesis will likely need a lot less attention.

Much better looking than the BMW 1 series.
Not exactly a good looking car, looks like a cheap toy.
Bingo. Since most truck beds are not 8 ft anymore, hauling some 2 x 4 x 96" standard lumber (or ladder, pipes, etc) would be easier while also maintaining a barrier for other items you might have in the bed at the same time.
On my way down “the auto mile” in Norwood, MA a month ago I saw at least 2 lots full of Teslas, mostly Model 3. These were parked several miles from the “store” in Dedham. Seeing that they are sitting on inventory of higher priced Model 3 cars is not good but based on what I saw locally, very true. They are tying up a…
I am with KillerCow. I have the Sonata PHEV. It states 27 miles of EV range but I routinely get more than that, actually, can’t remember more than a handful of times I have only made it 27 miles in EV mode, which happens normally in really rainy weather usually.
You are right, have you seen the group vying to be on the democrat ticket?
I grew up in upstate NY for 18 years, lived in New England ever since. From my experience, I have never met someone with engine damage nor anyone who really gives engine warm up a second thought in any type of weather. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Doesn’t seem to be much of an issue. I think most people with…
Get this thing tested out in the field and then we can start deploying the civilian version a few years later that can then power all of these EVs that are coming.
Take a quick tour on google maps like I just did. Pretty enough scenery around but not mind blowing. This looks like the equivalent of getting an offer to live in half dumpy farm town in the US but because it is thousands of miles away and you don’t know the language you think it is romantic and fun. Not saying this…
I can never get over how far the wheels are inset on these compared to the body. Always felt like they were stuffing too large of a body on the chassis. You can easily see it on the road and on the top image and the 3rd image into the article.
The only way financing would help was that if he financed a car that will retain its value (difficult to forecast) and he doesn’t plan on keeping it for long. He could get out of the deal in a similar way to his rental situation now. Get to enjoy a nice car at a monthly rate, paying as he goes and then when it comes…
I get the high cost of the housing being somewhat close to the city, I live it on a different scale in the Boston area. The killer for these properties is the real estate tax, Nassau County in particular is a killer. Those places are $14k to $15k in property taxes per year alone. In my town, even here in MA, the taxes…
Pretty much what the guys on The Grand Tour said in Season 3 Episode 1, turn it into a giant muscle car fun park.
Everyone is replaceable...
Can confirm - worst year was $42k for 2 in day care, a little less than the mortgage plus taxes/ins
No seat belts, big metal dash... not a lot of survivors telling stories.
Going back to the late nineties when I used to go to the NYIAS at the Javits Center, it was common to see things removed because the mfgs removed anything removable like that. This is not new.
Except that there is a 316hp hybrid version that based on my estimated calculations of the current size fuel tank and stated miles per tank, puts you at about 26-27 mpg, for a semi-big 6 person vehicle.
