"Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence could very well be the ideal couple. Sure, they’re both whiter than Wonder Bread, but…"
Because the Arkham games are THAT good.
I mean, the moment shouldn't be "we both have mothers with the same name". It should be Bruce realising that Supes has a mother at all. He isn't a space alien come to earth to destroy it (or whatever hokey reason Batman actually had to kill Superman), it humanises Superman.
Yeah, that probably bugged me the most out of the whole film. No-one bats an eyelid at her cold blooded killings. They just kind of shrug it off. Why are we as an audience expected to go along with it?
Proper, good batman imagery. But to be fair, that is literally all Zack Snyder does well - snapshots that look good in trailers/stills.
Yep. And why does everyone in the film just accept that she just murdered a bunch of government employees in cold blood? Like, so what if they don't have clearance, give them clearance!
Urgh, that 'BET' Croc bit…
The scene in the old ruined house with batman having to hide in the corner of the room was actually pretty great, and the way its shot makes it look like he is a giant bat frantically trying to escape. I'd fear that guy.
Yep, and that's the biggest problem, it doesn't even make sense in the moment. Like, it could have worked (briefly) if it worked on a surface level that fell apart later, but it doesn't make a damn bit of sense and then confuses everything that comes later.
Not sure on first question. Second question: she shot them because what they now knew classified info (the suicide squad works for the government) and is above their level. She says it very briefly as they're leaving the room, and it made zero fucking sense.
In-deep-penis day? Maybe?
I think i saw the same video. It talked about him creating moments, not scenes.
Oh shit! You're right… I mean, even the whack-a-mole game was imagined by him too…
'Losers, in other words'
You're a nice person.
And instead of elasticity, Mr Fantastic has the powers of being slightly off tempo on the drums
NERD!!!
All I've ever heard was mention of this backlash, I don't remember ACTUALLY seeing any backlash of note. Maybe a few MRAs here and there, but certainly not anything anyone should have taken any notice of.
Yeah potentially, but I think dismissing those dislikes as misogynistic is wrong. Plus that was a seriously bad trailer. Looked like the most generic 90s comedy going.
