Haha. Funny. Well, there were other reasons, which indicated to me that she did not actually read my paper and just gave it a grade based on a general curve or that she took it too personally.

I had a law professor that said we could either turn in 1 ten page paper or 2 five page papers. I turned in the 1 ten page paper and when I went to review it with her, she said i got a lower grade because I only did 10 pages. I reminded her of what she said and she said, i meant it as a minimum. Smh.

To be fair, there are common electric typewriters that many people still use, including me. I have used them for multiple jobs (and I'm under 40). They are a heck of a lot easier to use than the non-electric type but the still cant erase worth a damn.

While the replies to your post have a point in that other texts can contain errors and that some citations are accurate, and while some teachers are accepting wikipedia cites as sort of acceptable, I totally agree that doing research is the way to go.
