Yes, the reviews are mixed because it is a game that combined a lot of elements: platforming, rpg, action/adventure. Also, the character designs and environments are not nextgen, so a lot of reviewers thought a PS2 game on the PS3 was no good.

While I do agree with a few posters who do say that it is important and the fantasy-scifi genre would not be the same without Star Wars, I do agree that the series is not very good. Even terrible things can lay the foundation for greatness.
