928? A machinist co-worker friend of mine had a pretty decent condition 928 sitting in his driveway, for several years. It seems that it had a prohibitively expensive cooling system issue, and although he had basically the same machinist attitude that I had/have, that I can fix anything, he eventually sold it for

I have nothing against the guys with Very Large Dinero, even though I’m not one of them. I’ve been to the Concourse, I lived in Monterey for 39 years, my brother worked there (if you were there at the ramp every year, he ran the ramp, you knew who he was), we got in for free every year, some years they’d give us 15 or

What if you buy it as a place to live in with your 12 large dogs? For maybe $1200, $1000 would be even better, that would be a deal. Hook a porta-potty trailer behind it, it would be deluxe.  Can’t you just smell in your mind’s eye, I mean, nose?

Datsun truck. Lets see if I can remember, yes, I believe i sold my last one for $500 (?), so, this guy is nuts, he is going to own it forever. Will an L20B actually pull that hulk up a hill?

What’s your point? A whole lot of people carry guns here, I don’t know anyone that has a CCW.

Not when at a dead stop.

I wouldn’t say that, most gun guys I know have a very large number of firearms. You can still buy them easily and legally.

But, but, but.....isn’t the Greater LA Metropolitan area, the inventor, the ground zero, of people shooting at other people in vehicles? I would assume there are far more guns in vehicles than there used to be, every time there is a new gun law here, there is a run of gun buying at everywhere from WalMart to Wilbur

Speaking of insufferable pricks, I bought a Ducati S4, a Monster but with a 916 Superbike engine, a watercooled, 4 valve per cylinder lump that ran circles around the standard air cooled 2 valve, and it was called a Senna replica, some carbon fiber parts was the only difference. I got invited to a Ducati club meet. I

But, I’ve been told, when I questioned someone’s “art”, that “art” was in the eye of the beholder and the opinion of the “artist”. 123, it seems that being a sculptor yourself, you’d be a little more sympathetic to the cause.......

One thing I don’t see mentioned, is anyone paying attention to those guys that spend every night after work (work, what’s that?), welding a roll cage into an old Camaro to race at a local dirt track, or maybe even spend every dime dime they have to run some regional series, or doing some backyard quick and dirty

I’m willing to bet that the farm equipment, land and spending your time learning engineering, is serving you, your family, and the next generations of little Icelandrs, much better than a rich kids’ toy ever would (which is what those Porsche cup cars are).

I think my lawyer would have something to say about running my credit 30 times. I have a hard time believing that. It’s pretty damn obvious that the same place is shown running it 30 times in half an hour or a couple hours, and it would flag your account before it ran your score down.

Sometimes you guys surprise/disappoint me. I fully expected the usual “death wish/stupid motorcycle riders/”You’ll never catch me doing that because I’m smarter than you”, replies, but Noooooo.

Why? Fuck, Tom. You know why.

He’s right, people need to lighten up and quit taking themselves so seriously. If someone disagrees with something that someone else says, they get called a racist. I suppose if you think Bill Maher is funny, or you find his show interesting because of his guests, I guess that would make you a racist, correct? If I

Not really. Just difficult to manage for a few. The guys failing when leaving Cars & Coffee are a good example. They seem to congregate in schools......

This is absolutely true. I was shocked when I found out that nearly all the guys I knew, didn’t know jack about cars, even some car guys I know. I’ve always been a “car guy”, and a “motorcycle guy”. And hung out with the same. Recently, a co-worker bought a 2017 Camaro. I asked him which one? “The Fast One.”

You’re not from Alabama, are ya? They sell a lot of full size trucks down south.......
