I really like aCalendar. It’s doesn’t have a nice looking UI but it has really useful features and great swipe/double-tap/triple-tap shortcuts

You should try zim wiki. It has similar features, uses wiki markup for individual pages and file system folders for groups/sub-groups so it’s compatible with version control and the command line. It’s also free software, and has a bunch of useful plugins.
