IIRC, the doctor didn’t prescribe imitrex because I don’t get migraines that often and a heavy duty dose of ibuprofen kept most of them under control. I’ve since learned that adding tylenol to the mix gets rid of them completely (but tylenol alone does squat).

Migraines? I hated topomax when I was on it. It cut down the number and length of my headaches dramatically (though mine weren’t severe enough to need imitrex, despite lasting 2-3 days), but I definitely had the asphasia and restlessness side effects, both of which I hate hate hated.

You’re missing the fact that there are different kinds of privilege and your example showcases at least two ways in which the black man is very privileged and one way in which he is not. While the white person is only privileged in one way.
