low hanging fruit benny

My ‘67 XR7 was stored in a garage from 1984 to 2010 when I bought it from the previous owner’s widow. Oddly the vinyl top was in perfect shape when I picked it up but quickly deteriorated into rags after just a few weeks in the sun

This is especially bad around the Detroit area. Some of the vehicles on these highways are in a pretty questionable state as well.
