I wondered about this for SO long, but my ADHD didn’t allow me to keep that thought in my head long enough to actually search for it when I got home.

YES! This would be a great segment! I notice things about commercial trucks and things truckers do that I wonder about all the time and I’ve had limited success in figuring it out via google searches and I don’t know any truckers.
Back in my hard partying days sometimes I’d wake up and not know whether it was 7am or 7pm, but that’s unrelated to the availability of 24 hour clocks.
I mean in some places its dark at both 5am and 5pm....although I would think there should be other indicators as to what time of day it is other than your car clock.
At a company I worked for a LONG time ago, they have some custom programming in their ERP system to help calculate labor costs, couldn’t use the default one because for whatever reason the company was unique and needed custom coding for it (or was sold on it for whatever reason). For whatever reason, if the last digit…
I think mine were another brand than Cuisinart, so its probably moot.

The only problem with those is that the paint starts to come off, and then you end up with paint in your food.

Just.....like why are you here if you hate the articles so much?
Apologies for the word salad there, hopefully everyone will get the gist.
The footage in the GIF on this picture was taken from the front yard of my friend’s house. There’s a slight downhill and a corner there that people seem to have a real problem with. He had 3 cars crash into his front yard (And ended up on the front steps of his house (luckily they were concrete or it would have been…
I live in Minnesota where we get snow and ice regularly and I STILL see truck bros doing things like that, or in heavy snow they’ll pass me on the freeway where I’m doing about 40 and they’re doing 80, and at the next corner their truck is on its side in the ditch in about 4 feet of snow.
Or in the event of a rollover crash, you’ll be ejected and then rolled over by your own car.
Malibu vs Bel Air.....
If I remember correctly, in that video the steering column shot up in a way that would have impaled the driver’s head too.
My sister is a paramedic and while sometimes being ejected from a rollover accident can save you, usually you get ejected and then the car rolls over you and they have to use a shovel to scoop your remains off the pavement.
Same, at -25F outside, its awfully nice to at least have a little heat in there before jumping in and driving.
Yeah, I think that unless its extremely cold outside, you don’t need more than like 20-30 seconds to warm it up.
That happens here in Minnesota the first few snowfalls every winter. I’ll be driving down the freeway in almost blinding snow, going maybe 30-40 and looking for the next exit when someone in a huge brodozer with mud tires goes flying past at 80 and completely spins out at the next curve and ends up in the ditch.
I had a 93 escort wagon, and that thing ran great until 2006 when it ended up being so rusty underneath that my mechanic told me he wasn’t going to work on it anymore, so I scrapped it and traded it for a 95 Econoline 150. Kind of went from one end of the spectrum to the other.
If its aluminum DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER. I had a Bialetti I did that with and it ruined whatever finish was on it so then there was always a film of aluminum oxide on the outside, which I’m sure is not good to ingest.
