What’s funny about this is how you let a joke get you so triggered.

It really depends where you’re coming from and going to. I live in Minneapolis and commute to Brooklyn Park for work, and its generally pretty quick with the only delay being in the Lowry Tunnel area, though since covid its been a breeze.
I think if you’re going the opposite way, from the suburbs into the city,

That’s basically how it is here too. They get a block’s worth of mail in their bags and walk the block, then go to the next one

I had that same thing when I bought my car, financed through my credit union. I was preapproved for the loan, so I knew the only stipulation was that I actually buy the car, and they tried to convince me that I had to buy the warranty as well.

That’s all well and good except when its like -10 outside.

no, they die from being affixed to the snow

My company has an ERP system that’s 10 years out of date, and at the beginning of every year we enter into discussions about upgrading it with the consulting company that manages it for us. Every year, IT leadership decides its too expensive to upgrade it because we’ll be moving to a new ERP in 3 years, and passes on

I had a Sentra with the CVT and at first I liked it, but after awhile I wasn’t such a big fan. I’d be willing to give it another try with a different car though. My only issue was that if you had to brake hard and stop, for some reason it wouldn’t reset itself to first gear/starting ratio/whatever until you pressed on

So true!

I’m ok with these kind of people flushing their own lives down the toilet

I agree, these folks are the first ones to fall back on the ‘white victimhood’ excuse when they’re confronted with their racism. They need to be held actually accountable.

Also, if someone shoots you, you’re well within your rights to shoot back in self defense. Like at this point, why bother trying to hide your racism? Just come out with it and let it be known. Everyone knows what your dog whistles mean.

Not only that, but being glad one of them was shot so they’d stop bothering you.

I honestly think that since these people have grown up and never had consequences that when they’re faced with long prison terms they’re going to cave and tell everything they know. Sedition is an extremely serious crime.

These people don’t even know what communism is, its just the boogeyman they’ve been told to be afraid of. Back in the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s, it was more of an existential threat (but not even really that much), now people don’t even know what communism is.
They also don’t understand that there is a communist party

You also better believe that these peckerwoods that are being arrested and looking at 20+ years of hard time are gonna be happy to make a deal and spill their guts.

I think this is a big part of why Biden has said he’ll let the DOJ handle its law enforcement job and not tell them what to do. DOJ should not be politicized.

My biggest issue with that movie was the semi truck chase scene, where the brake lines get cut, and if you cut the bake lines on a truck it’ll come to a screeching halt, because they work in the reverse way car brakes work. The brakes are held open by air pressure, no air pressure=emergency brakes.

I’m just blown away that they don’t use something sharp to do the cutting. I guess the massive weight of the ship is enough to break through the steel. Those chain links must be make of some kind of crazy strong steel alloy.

I worked at a plastics company, and they had optional respirators for people working in the glue room. That stuff was so nasty that it would make me all light headed when I went in there.
This place was also run by a hard core republican and they even had Michele Bachmann come in for a tour when she was running for
