Yep, people say “Well, what have the protests accomplished?” and my answer is “Not enough yet, they’re going to keep going until they do”.

I’m pretty sure he’s under 18, and its illegal to open carry if you’re under 18 in Wisconsin as well. So him just being there with his gun was a felony. Yet no arrest.

He’s been thoroughly identified, he’ll be lucky if he’s arrested and charged and doesn’t have something worse happen to him. 

Its perfectly clear what this is based on, Trump is pushing anything that might be a ‘miracle cure’ because he knows that he’s so thoroughly fucked up the response to covid that the only thing that could save him now is a miracle.

I feel like more and more people are abandoning the Republican Party. I think the party has changed so much and gone so far off the rails that people are staying home. The Republican base is getting older, sicker, and smaller.

I never understood people’s fear of learning to drive a manual. It takes a little practice in a dirt parking lot and a little nuance on the clutch and gas. I learned in an afternoon at 15 years old.

Out of curiosity I checked on this guy’s last rocket launch. In some ways it was a success, in others not so much. His parachute deployed about 2 seconds after liftoff, then his rocket made a big parabolic arc and hit the ground at what looked like terminal velocity.

That’s true....I guess I didn’t think about it in those terms.

I think test pooling might be a good idea too, we can mutiply the testing capacity that way. 

Can this water be distilled or treated with reverse osmosis to get rid of the contaminants? If they could remove the majority of the water, wouldn’t it be easier to dispose of a smaller volume of waste?

A standard corporation only exists to make profits for its stockholders, right? Isn’t this capitalism at its best?
