Did you watch that game against Butler? Holy shit, I have never seen a shooting performance like that in my life. It was insane. Every circus shot piece of garbage that approached the rim went in, it was like there was a fucking magnet pulling the ball through the hoop.

Don’t worry, just call it an EXT and you’ll be fine.

Jewel I presume is Jewel-Osco, which is owned by Albertson’s which also owns Safeway and Acme, hardly an independent store or chain, currently the 25th largest supermarket system in the world and has as many employees as Amazon.

Anything Volvo with a 90 is unreal. Test drove an XC90 a few weeks ago. I haven’t shut up about it. Unfortunately, it’s at the extreme top of the price range and the fiance is knuckling down on her finances for the first time ever. Great timing :(

A note on VCA. They pay significantly less than locally owned places. My fiance (an emergency vet) was recently interviewing for jobs when we moved. She had four offers, two from VCA and two from independent hospitals. Both VCA offers were nearly $30K less than the two independently owned hospitals. You can imagine

The lightning is striking...upwards?

The Hoosiers have gone as high as they can go with Tom Crean, he might be a great recruiter, but he’s a terrible X’s and O’s guy. As a fan of a different Indiana college basketball team, I love watching them flounder in mediocrity while still singing songs about all the banners they hung 30 years ago.

Once conference play starts, no team in the Big XII should ever be number one. Kansas can be there during the non-con if they play a tough enough schedule.

People in Denver are desperate to find anyone who understands them. No one is from here and no one is from where you’re from. It’s insane.

Laugh now, but if the youths get a hold of this vote, all 8 pieces will be hashtags and emojis.

...to laughably under-perform and flame out in 2 seasons. The Duke way!

The implication being that Coach K will get a pass on something that would have gotten Coach Cal roasted.

My fiance is at like 13K and I’m considering leaving her. I can’t handle all that screen clutter.

The car itself is solid, runs like a scalded dog. It’s just starting to have little things, that are outside my wrenching ability and cost more than I think I care to pay mounting up, needs a new CIM and likely a new A/C. It also needs rear brake calipers, which I can do, but just don’t feel compelled to.

The new 4runners are pretty fly.

Definitely more Saturn than Saab, but Saturn was a victim of the recession, not really mismanagement. GM definitely had to offload their secondary badges in order to correctly restructure and refocus after the bailout. Add that to the fact the people most affected by the market collapse were Saturn’s target market,

It’s an ‘08 with nearly 200K, needs a new CIM and has a couple cosmetic blemishes that might constitute more than wear and tear, I get the feeling any dealership I asked to take it might refer me to the Goodwill give-back program.

I truly love my 9-3 but alas it’s electrical issues are becoming more than I care to tolerate. That and it’s just about to click over 200K and I can’t help the feeling it’s doomed for some major issue.

St. Patrick’s is by far the worst of the amateur drinking holidays, followed by NYE, honorable mention to Wednesday before Thanksgiving, IMO.
