I think the rule is, fans get until the parade and then it’s open season on those assholes.

Are you really begrudging people the emotions they feel because fandom is often passed down generationally?
Counterpoint: no one cares about the White Sox
That you feel the need to come on here and pat yourself on the back on a Cubs post is the most Sox fan inferiority complex thing ever. Cheers.
Our grandma was a huge Cubs fan and passed that on to the rest of the family. My favorite story is that the nursing home staff had a schedule of the Cubs games and times and stations, etc. Even though my family has got to watch a lot of games together this year, we our all busy and live in different states to where…
Pretty salty for a guy who named his account after a 1B that hit 5-8 more HRs a year in more or less the same period
It was some fans. Many Cubs fans put the blame on who truly deserved it: Alex Fucking Gonzalez.
My mom 100% would’ve left my dad for Mark Grace.
Ok, I’ll star this last one, but no more “old Cubs fan, twist ending story”, OK?
With one out, you want a runner on first with a double play possibility. Also, depending on the hand of the pitcher vs. batter you want to face the best matchup as a pitcher
Not surprised he would do that. He’s always been a “me me” kind of guy.
It’s not equally important, it’s more important. The Cubs bullpen is mostly irrelevant unless they get to Kluber and/or Miller. I’m optimistic that they can get to a guy they’re seeing for the 3rd time in 9 days on short rest, but they haven’t yet.
...
He’s not a Cub next year, use him, this is the World Series.
I don’t see Kluber going more than 4-5 innings on three days rest. It’s probably Kluber-Miller-Smith, I’m not sure that’s any significantly better than Hendricks-Lester-Chapman.
Kluber looked mortal on 3 days rest. Still a stone-cold killer, but mortal. Now, pitching for a 3rd time on short rest.. well there’s a reason the last time a pitcher won 3 world series games was in the 1940's.
One of the best car commercials I’ve ever seen. I can picture it now, without even watching that commercial and it’s been almost 20 years.
First thing that popped into my head.
And being in Vegas, I assume it’s rust-free too!
Under $2K and it runs? Automatic NP.
