“Except I’m in a movie that’s representing a whole other group of disenfranchised people who have no voice in the world and this movie means so much to them.

damn, if Mark Ruffalo goes, that means there is no way in hell any of the other whites in Hollywood will support them. Ruffalo is one of the biggest progressives in Hollywood, most feminist, most social justice person of everyone in Hollywood right now. He was one of the first famous Bernie Sanders supports in a town

My favorite tip jar (from Schmackary’s cookies in Brooklyn, NY)

Yes, this! I could live in the safest neighborhood where nothing bad has ever happened, and I would STILL dead bolt my door. It’s a psychological sense of safety for me. But seriously, there is no reason to not lock your door. I do it when I take my dog for a quick pee at 3am and no one is around, I still gotta lock

Just as an aside to all of this, one of the stories linked says the guy walked in through an unlocked back door. Kids, please: lock your doors. I know you feel like nothing can happen to you at that age, but even if you feel like it’s unnecessary, please please pleasepleaseplease lock your doors. In college my brother

My friend was dating a very controlling guy in college.

You weren’t asking me, but no, I don’t believe you can.

Yes, but that’s not really the point. Her friend was killed because of her ex boyfriend's anger towards her decision to break off the relationship. This is a fear women face while dealing with controlling significant others. It is an unfortunately reality that we have to deal with.

And THIS is why I don’t date.

I love her and I will not make fun of her tweets for a full year.

Chering is caring.

Wasn’t he an entertainment lawyer, not a defense attorney? I could be totally off here, but I don’t think it was his calling or obligation. Plus O.J. had access to ANY attorney he wanted; Kardashian could have said “Hey, best of luck, friend, but I don’t think I can do this, conflict of interest blah blah.”

My understanding as a non-litigation lawyer is that lawyers cannot knowingly get or instruct their client (or a witness I guess) to lie under oath. They can say something vague like “tell me what happened” but they can’t lie. That being said, I can’t remember if OJ testified or not.

So lawyers shouldn’t defend people they know are guilty?

That’s a defender’s job. That’s a noble calling. I mean he gave us the Kardashian’s and all, so I’m not putting him up for sainthood and he married Kris, like how messed up was he. However we need people to defend the innocent, the guilty and the we don’t know, other wise what is the point of law?

oh she will be GREAT. I’ve never seen her acting on a subpar level and refuse to believe she’s capable of it.

i’m trying to think who else could even come close to playing her...?

i can’t decide if selma blair will be the perfect kris, or just awful.

From your mouth to God’s ears.

Perfectly put. It’s Josh Scwartz fanfic come to life.
