I paid 22k for a 18 GTI Autobahan with 13k miles on it. Still has the 6 year 72k warrenty. Drove the GLI, interior felt low rent, had rattles new and door panels rattled with the radio on.

I had a 2016 GLI. I can tell you the build quality was pretty awful. There were interior panel fit issues. Had random interior creaking. Also the fake leather started cracking at 40k miles. Also it didn’t drive all that well either, understeered like a pig and felt heavy.  Traded it in for a mk7 GTI and its a world of…

I like it.  Its not perfect but i’m shocked this “new” design has zero fake vents.  I’m impressed from that alone.
