If he serves all that time behind bars, I’d say it seems to fit the crime. But he’ll likely get out sooner. There is also civil remedies for the victims: they can sue the crap out of the guy provided he has anything to go after, also his future earnings.

EV power cells burn incredibly hot, hot enough to melt concrete, so it could be very bad.

Did you miss this? CADMV just shut Cruise down for omitting the fact that the Cruise driverless taxi that struck a pedestrian that was thrown into its path by another vehicle, actually continued to drive over the pedestrian.

CADMV just shut Cruise down for omitting the fact that the Cruise driverless taxi that struck a pedestrian that was thrown into its path by another vehicle, actually continued to drive another 20 feet after it initially stopped, dragging the pedestrian beneath the cruise taxi.

EV conversion definitely in my miata s future, but waiting for better tech and hopefully some incentives from the state and Feds as ICE vehicles eventually become the pariah of the motoring world.

If I saw a Ghost. I’d write about that 😊

Throttle lift oversteer and overcorrection don’t take a lot of horsepower to induce. I’ve done it many times on the track in a 100 hp Miata. The problem isn’t necessarily high horsepower vehicles that people can’t handle, it’s really more of the people just can’t handle driving period. And it just goes to show we need

Even the movie posters had this strange perspective where Hobbs looks too small. I remember this poster from Fast 8, the Rock looks tiny for being closest to the lens!

It’s a marketing PR move IMO. Most likely planned all along to make additional changes to differentiate the twins, also an excuse to charge more no doubt.

This guy was mildly entertaining back when he had a hellcat 5 or so years ago, but then getting tickets and run ins with the cops became a regular thing with him, probably for the views, like a lot of these automotive youtubers. It’s immature and really boring IMO.

I drive a transit for work. Not a lot of power, but they drive nice, mileage is decent and have nice safety features. Prefer them over the MB Metris in the fleet.

48k? Seriously? I get the appeal, but modern SUVs drive just as well, perform as well or better and get great MPG if that’s what you’re shopping for.

I don’t think Kevin James fan will be disappointed. Even Rob Schneider found some success with his fans with his Netflix show.

Another boomer checking in. Not offended because I’m a boomer. Just offended because it’s a poorly done knock off of Cars , with the 7 series suppose to the Paul Newman character of Doc and the iX suppose to be a knock off of Lightning McQueen I think. It’s crap none the less.

Code doesn’t work.

76? Good luck smogging that ever other year. Pass.

IDK, surprised there’s not more EV start ups to be honest. When the auto industry was in its nascent years, hundreds of car makers popped up but many never survived past the 1930s.

Six speed slush box and torsional rear end suspension, easily makes this the least hot hatchy of the bunch IMO. I also suspect the power band to be low, but wide, and not a high rev happy motor. I doubt Mazda will even position it as a hot hatch competitor.

This issue goes away once they solve the biggest inconvenience with EVs, which isn’t range, but speed of charging from low to full. Secondarily is access to said fast charging. I think range is a bit of a distraction since most of us could do fine with a 110 mile range vehicle as a daily. When we get to a 10 min full

I recently had a Home Depot brand fail on me, thank god it only pinched my thumb, giving me the worst blood blister I’ve ever had. I realized that these ratcheting style stands can wear out. I have not taken the time to investigate the failure, but I suspect it’s similar to what happened with these HF stands. All my
