No. 1 is “Cruel Summer” by Taylor Swift. She’s really messed up the tune.

At least 2 or 3 songs on this list are actually good covers though.

Anything associated with end-of-life is terrifying. You can go peacefully, but its still terrifying. There is so much we do not know.

If that’s true, I’m leading the most boring life possible. I’m commenting on Gizmodo. This is one of my happiest recollections? If that’s the case, I’m as good as dead already.

Even though I could never afford it (obviously) I think this is ridiculously awesome. I feel like Jalopnik currently has the biggest disconnect in terms of how writers see their takes being received, and what their actual reading audience is. Most of us like to see cool stuff, especially if it was repurposed like this.

So they’re repurposing a ship that would otherwise be dismantled in an environmentally friendly manner, and your take is it’s bad, just because it’s for a billionaire?

Your grandma sounds like a badass.

Can anyone explain why you’d have a camera filming inside your car? Is this guy an Uber driver or something? I get filming the crazy people around you, but why film yourself?

He looked like a total badass. The control of his weapon points to adequate training. Glad he’s armed and spraying our highways for justice.

That’s true. But my position is both consistent with a deeper understanding of physics. (Which is where I think most make the oversimplification mistake of assuming that uniform brake force and uniform rotational velocity deceleration are the same thing and or result in the same stopping distance - which they do not.)

Awd DOES STOP FASTER. Just because you don’t want it to be true because you drive a 2wd car does not change the fact that mechanically linked AWD does in fact reduce braking distance on many surfaces and especially on snow and ice. The difference is significant. And automotive journalist should know this.

So you’re telling me the left lane is for passing only, correctly cite that many states (my own included) have this on the books as law, but I’m to consider this a myth? It’s law here. You get ticketed for it.

Kudos for the subtle callout of the troll/idiot!

Yeah but: here’s a documentary about “a small avalanche that killed some jamokes” is harder sell than a spoooooky mystery.

The fact that you think your behavior is what we SHOULD do when a cop flips their lights on is part of the problem. I don’t blame you for it, but victim blaming this woman for doing what she’s supposed to do according to the state’s own guidance and then falling back on your own fucked-up, traumatized reaction to

You think someone deserves to get PIT’d because they wanted to find a safe spot to pull over?

That’s what gets me! So worst case scenario, she drives away and he can’t catch her, and then... the end? He has her plate, they can send her a ticket or summons in the mail.

“Why didn’t you stop?” Dunn questioned.

Was so eager to write that ticket, he wanted her to put his life at risk by having her pull over where he'd be at risk of another driver hitting him.

So this piece of shit almost killed a woman and her unborn child because she was speeding.
