Hey stef, you never greyed me so I’m gonna leave a message about how you ahould get a raise.

*tears off shirt and curses the sky*

Bait what? I’m asking in complete honesty and would like to know. I’m not trying to make an argument, the GP shows me its a beautiful place and that alone would be reason enough to live there.

To each their own. I could see the appeal to such a place, some people like order to that degree. My problem being the toilet thing. I agree,a decent human flushes,I’m not arguing that,But what if i forget? Like sometimes I get a call mid pee and get distracted washing my hands or am really drunk? I will literally go

This is the first actual reason Ive heard. I did not know those 2 systems were only able to happen because of the pdk. Does the R go without both of these?

We will see. I don’t think it is that antiquated yet. Look at the M4,I’d say there is a 60:40 manual split on m4. On smaller, more athletic vehicles, people want the option. I see what you are saying about the M5,but it has bloated to 4400 lbs or something today. It’s never going to be that super small sports car,i

911R’s are unobtanable and if one did come to market, itd probably cost as much as a 997.2 RS 4.0 right now. I believe they made a few thousand gt3's so,nowhere near the 991 of the R.. I believe the manual still gives off the racing ethos more than any automatic. Want to have a race car transmission as the only option?

We will see where this new transmission ends up now that they have done all the work for it.

I agree, but where is the track? Everyone drives these cars on the street and all of them have radios despite them being an option. Yes,we can pretend we are all fast and furious street racers, but the truth is,these should be enjoyable street cars first and they are, hence automatic transmissions and radios. I just dont

I bet it has. I wanted to be able to get out of my 360 for 997.2,that dream will have to hold though due to the huge appreciation. I really hope they build the new with both as an option. It is wonderful that pdk exist for people like that, but there is so obviously a demand for a stick.

Yes! I hope they also offer it on the rs. I personally know 2 people who have owned the last gens rs and refuse to buy the new one. I also know 2 people who dont even know how to drive a stick that now own one. They certainly broadened their market, but also aleinated their original customers.

I think I’d rather sell the 918 for the million dollar profit and keep this 911R for myself. I just like its basic approach. I agree,it does look good when you have cars selling for close to double msrp.

True, hopefully they just underestimated the demand for a manual in this generation 911 and it will be fixed with the .2 like you said. 911R is amazing, but I think a gt3 rs with that transmission would be cooler.

I dont understand how porsche makes that 6-spd and then doesnt offer it as an option in an RS? Why? Pdk’s are fast, but not fun.

Sounds like this man actually wants an Rs4 or 6 avant:( Maybe someday audi will bring them, but i doubt it.

I had a tubi on mine. Absolutly prefer the noise to any v8. I like it more than my 360's exhaust note too. Once Gt4 prices calm themselves,I’m gonna trade for one of those and get another RS4 for the winter and daily duties. I just miss it too much. Audi has screwed up cars, but they usually make brilliant drivers over

Seen plenty of 200k examples!

crazy. I wonder what he needed? Pads and rotors were like 1500 if i remember correctly. I almost cant believe there is 12k of maintenemce items? They have chains that are actually life time unlike the same gen’s s4.

Except the V8 in those audi’s are great. I had the same motor in my RS4. Sold it with 90k on the clock without a hiccup. Cannot speak to the v10 though.

The majority of my family lives in Italy and I visit them pretty often. They are very honest and I’ve asked them many times,”do the americans bother you as tourists?”
