Thats cool and all but at some point your friend should look into something safer in a crash. A crash in a 2016 Civic is way more survivable than one from 1996.

It was cramped on the inside, the seats were like park benches, it rode rough, it wasn’t that quick, didn’t really feel or sound like a V8, etc. Just too many compromises for not enough payoff.
Never been as dissappointed in a car I always wanted than this one. It sucked.
I have been complaining about this for years. Just think of a hybridized minivan with a camper conversion like the old VW van. +/-35 mpg in a mini camper? Yes please. My old VW camper got something like 11 mpg. I think the work/delivery van potential with one of these would be great too.
