As far as I’m concerned, once they took the manual away from the Max, it was dead. The CVT was just the final nail in the coffin.

You know, I had high hopes for Carlos when he ushered in the R35. It seemed like he might be a good match to lead Nissan in the 21st century. But, it seems like that was the last Nissan product he gave a shit about. Most everything since has gone downhill, including the Z and especially the Maxima.
Ghosn screwed himself by trying to force the Japanese into his business model, then by basically stealing from his employer.
I used to dig the original Pathfinder! It still looks cool compared to any of Nissan’s modern off-roaders. Except for the Patrol, which we don’t get in the US.
Which person is in jail for thinking he was so important, the company should pay for all his stuff? If Carlos was so great, why did Nissan drop from the second best selling manufacturer in Japan to the 5th during his tenure?
That’s a nice number and all, but they sure as hell aren’t making that now, are they? Carlos cost cut the shit out of manufacturing costs to increase short term profits at the expense of Nissan’s overall, long term reputation.
Personally, I stayed with 17" wheels on my WRX. 225/45-17 on coilovers with decent valving was relatively easy to live with on a daily basis, in SoCal anyway.
The existence of the Nissan Kicks already told me that Nissan was in shambles. Nevermind that garbage they’re trying to pass off as a Maxima. Or that the R35 has been around almost as long as the R32, R33 and R34 put together. Do I even need to bring up the Z?
For me, I’d say that speed is 100 mph.
For the 90's, MiniDisc was awesome! ATRAC beat MP3 to the compression game, market wise. But of course, Sony squandered that lead with heavy licensing fees, so ATRAC and MiniDisc were forgotten in the annals of tech.
Still don’t care, it’s still a Nissan Kicks. A vehicle with the dumbest name of all time. Marketing couldn’t come up with something better?
You needed a light, not a helmet.
The rock that Chevy Trucks wish they were actually like.
Please, thank your bro for me for knowing how to park his huge truck.
If this car has current smog in CA, it’s a cheat. There’s no way this passed visual inspection at a smog station. The WRX I used to own failed at two different stations because I replaced a rubber intake hose after the MAF with an aftermarket piece.
Funny you mention a Lexus LS in the same sentence as a tape adapter. The last time I used a tape adapter was in my 1991 LS400, which I’d bought used in 1998. All the LS400's I looked at that had CD changers either had the gold emblem package, which I wanted nothing to do with, or were poorly maintained by their…
As a non-Tesla owner in a city full of Tesla’s, it’s not making me feel safer while out riding my motorcycle.
Just found a Red Bull TV add-in for my Kodi box (well LibreELEC on a Raspberry Pi) so I can watch from the comfort of my Lay-Z-Boy, also like an old man!
I find this article quite offensive...to candy corn.
Spoiler alert: What’s wrong with it is that it’s a used Land Rover.
