Ooh, it actually has a volume knob! Also has front, rear and sub pre-outs, a camera input and Bluetooth, including a Mic for handsfree. I’d prefer that it had a second USB input on the rear like my old JVC head unit did, but in this price range, I’ll allow it.

I really like how the engine is out on display for all to see, rather than hidden under the bodywork. That aesthetic died off around the start of the Turbo era.

Drove a modded WRX for 5 years, got 1 speeding ticket.

No, fuck you Jack for not getting the point. What Neil is trying to say here is point out the hypocrisy of the American Media, where they’ll glorify gun violence for hours all over TV, print and the internet when someone guns down some people in a public place when there really are numerous other things that are

Technically speaking, that thing moving around in the window is a bypass valve, not a wastegate. A wastegate is used to bypass exhaust gasses around the turbine in a turbocharger in order to control turbine speed, which in turn regulates boost pressure. There’s no such thing as a wastegate on a supercharger.

Personally, if I bought another LS, I’d freshen up the rotted and worn bits as much as possible with factory replacements, make a custom replacement for the factory head unit that has more modern tech and take it on long road trips. It’s not a great driver’s car, but it is a great car to drive on traffic laden

But, I don’t have any climate guilt. I daily ride a modern motorcycle, don’t own a car, never had kids, don’t own pets and I don’t work for a company or in an industry that profits from polluting the planet...why feel guilty?

Welllll, I wouldn’t say that the LS400 is not fast. Sure, it’ll take a while to get up to speed, but the LS will effortlessly cruise along at speeds that will get your license revoked. Wind noise at triple-digit speeds is like driving an Acura along at 70.

As a former 1991 owner, I recall that all of the Nakamichi systems came with the 10 disc changer. All the cars I looked at before I found my ‘91 (which was a base model) with the Nakamichi system had the changer. There was one in that car at some point!

I was looking right at a picture of one when I wrote my comment, so yes. But they’re still built just as poorly as every other FCA product. You can put a nice facade over a piece of shit and make it look good, but at the end of the day, it’s still shit.

Damn right!

I was going to ask the same question about the Durango? I’d much rather drive a Maxima than a Durango.

CRX all the way!

Oh good, now that we’re done with guys named Sebastien ruining my favorite sport, I can go back to enjoying the WRC.

Taycan’t they come up with a better name?

And here I always thought it got it’s notoriety from all those years of being played on The Benny Hill Show during some jumbly-filled comedic interlude.

Because everyone loves watching TV and movies on a portait display.

The original Dukes of Hazzard TV show is said to have totalled at least two Chargers per episode during its run. At least one for every jump in the series.

I’m downloading this now!
