California requires it as well, which is utterly stupid! There is zero need for a plate on the front of the car.
I’m pretty sure the cause of the crash was a 68 year old woman driving a Raptor.
Then feel free to find yourself a nice, planned community with an HOA that absolutely forbids that kind of thing and you’ll be fine. Be with your kind.
Take it out for some canyon runs and tell us all how it drives. Is it two tons of fun?
Good for her! I hope she got out, retrieved her purse and kicked him in the face a couple of times, too!
They can call it that all they want, but it doesn’t give you an actual octane number. What they call OAR is called DAM on my car, or Dynamic Advance Multiplier, but the principle is still the same...it uses the knock sensor to reduce ignition advance when knock is detected. It’s not directly detecting the octane…
That’s not how it works at all. First off, ECU’s can’t determine the octane rating of the fuel. Rather, there are a set of tables that determine spark advance based on engine load, throttle opening and RPM. Then, there is a multiplier that’s set based on the current knock sum, which is usually a number that’s…
I could imagine picking up an educated woman for a first date in it. If she doesn’t like it, there won’t be a second date.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $50 on the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 over the Logitech Z623. Even with the advanced age of the Promedia’s at this point, they simply sound better than the Logitech’s.

OK, you got me there...there actually IS a helical limited slip in the Spec V. Still, that leaves you two LSD’s short of the RS, with half the drive wheels and half the horsepower. Half the car for half the price in 2003 money.
Yeah, but does your Sentra have a driveshaft going back to the rear wheels to another, electronically controlled LSD? Or a meaningful amount of horsepower? Is that even a helical limited slip on the front of your Sentra?
Nope.
Not on this bike...even in neutral, it won’t start unless the clutch is pulled in.
I see them fairly often around San Diego.
If it’s anything like my friend’s turbo Miata, it doesn’t make any real power til about 4K, then it comes on brutally hard if your foot is on the floor...which completely overwhelms the tires if you’re in first or second. It’s definitely not for amateurs!
It’s currently running an FM2 kit with the larger GT3071R turbo…
I still get a kick out of this commercial every time I run into it.
For the kids, the Japanese man at the end is Mr K., the Father of the Z.
Fuck those bounty hunters! They drew guns on a fugitive they obviously knew was seriously dangerous while inside a public place of business, endangering the lives of everyone there. They got what they deserved, as did the scumbag they were after. Good riddance to all three!
