This isn’t going to be a popular post but...wasn’t black voter turn out in this election really low? It seems weird to say ‘organize your people’ when it looks like your own weren’t that into either.

To be honest....I’m only half there with the women’s march. I agree with everything about it but it occurs to me that if we had even half this amount of political motivation during the election we wouldn’t be in this sorry state of affairs.

Spreading mean rumors about the mental state of a child you have never met with absolutely NO evidence is kind of a stupidly malicious thing to do don’t you think?

Fucking thank you! I’ve seen so many articles the last servals agonizing over technology and horrified that people look at their phones that I wanted to scream.

I’m not talking about Clinton though. In local elections progressives just don’t vote and when confronted they will give reasons like “I couldn’t vote for him! 15 years ago he didn’t even campaign for gay marriage!”

I think Obama is hitting on a lot of key points in this speech about the importance of participating in democracy.

Except she’s right. Wisconsin does “vote GOP for the legislature and state offices but go blue for president” lots of states do. Its been true here for decades.
