Identity rotary premix is labeled as “premix rotary fuel lube”. Supposedly Mazda wanted to have a 2 stroke reservoir feeding the OMP but decided that Americans wouldn’t want to deal with refilling it.

Lowercase tau is used to denote torque in physics. Seems like an appropriate name for a V8 while sticking with their Greek letter naming scheme.

I love the 2002. This thing looks like my beater civic with a drop, paint, rims, and a ton of stickers.

I think there are certain cars that are just better with a manual and for most cars that I would consider buying, not having a manual would be a big enough issue for me to not buy it. But, most cars out there are not lightweight (when did 3000lb go from heavy to light?) and lower powered cars that are a blast on

Nearly the same proportions as my FC. It doesn’t feel small inside but everything on the road is so much bigger. It’s funny how little space it takes up in parking sports.

Starting isn’t so bad, it’s coming to a stop at the first light that gets me frantically searching.

In my experience people are more likely to say something if you’re by yourself, just not in a bad way. I’ve run into a lot of owners who have come up and talked to me when I was alone and checking out their car, sometimes you get interesting stories or learn things that only someone with one of those cars would know.

The last show I went to I barely spent any time at my car and still managed to overhear a lot of people wondering why it was in the show, usually because it wasn’t old enough for them or for being Japanese crap. This at a show that allows any car over 25 and is full of oddball/interesting cars rather than 100 mustangs

I swear doing it that way plus having a foam gun is faster than the “easy” way unless I’m really scrubbing the wheels or waxing after. It’s definitely faster than driving to the nearest car wash and waiting in line. After seeing how dirty the first rinse bucket is it’s pretty obvious why you use 2 with grit guards.

That’s pretty interesting considering the judge who issued the warrants, Kathleen Roberts, had been at the OC DA’s office since 1993 and was a Deputy District Attorney before being appointed last November.

Not sure about these Jeeps in particular but my dad’s Renegade has a switch you pull to activate the parking brake rather than a manual lever. It also auto-disengages when you hit the gas, so I wouldn’t trust it anyway.

She used her synthesizer to make spaceship noises...

Probably price. Convertibles were about as expensive as the turbo, between $1k less to $3k more depending on the year and the turbo was already $5-6k more than base in late 1980's dollars. There wouldn’t have been a lot of turbo verts sold at $30k.

Speaking of the poor—remember them? Oh, yeah, that’s us.

A hobo with an empty handle of vodka?

It just looks long because the roofline is so low and the camera angle accentuates it. Otherwise it seems to have similar size and proportions to the FC and FD with space for a 2 rotor entirely behind the strut towers.

I nominally learned on a beat to death Dakota pickup for work and really learned when I bought my Civic years ago and had nothing else to drive.

All I can see is the son about to take his sister’s head off and nobody but the dog realizes it’s going to end badly.

I encountered a pair of guys on I-84 dressed similarly. They were about a half mile back when I checked for room to pass. In the time it took me to pass a single car at 85 they had caught up to me. 30 seconds after they gave me dirty looks for getting in their way they were completely out of sight. I can’t imagine

I like white as it shows off the car’s lines, assuming that it has good lines. The only downside is that a little dust makes it look like you haven’t washed it in a month.
