I’ve only come across one Chancey while playing the last six months also. It was through hatching an egg so I have 18 candies. I’ve had 500+ eggs and only hatched one Chancey. Hopefully with Gen2 my luck has changed.

Damn. I have come across 1, exactly 1, Chansey in the 6 months I’ve had access to this game. Looks like Swinub is the new Drowzee in my area though - I snapped up the 50 candies needed to evolve into Piloswine in less than 3 hours, just sitting at home and letting my character wander in circles for a bit.
