I currently work with a white guy who is somewhat competent but mostly a dickhead. He’s super controlling when it comes to work and very condescending to women. He has no emotional intelligence whatsoever.

Same. I kept my married last name after divorce because it’s the same name as my three kids and the name I used professionally as an attorney for 10 years, it’s my name. 

I’m guessing it has to do with his Y chromosome.

It definitely seems like she wanted to move into a rock/industrial space with her music. She openly said at the VMAs one year that the main performance she wanted to see was Nine Inch Nails, and she collaborated with Jonathan Davis for the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. Probably telling the truth. She could be proud of her work at Disney and not psyched about signing into an expansive contract when she was really young that limited her film and music options for a while as an adult.
