No kids, but I’m a young so it’s still fresh in my mind.

I once found myself staying at a hotel adjacent to a conference center that was hosting BronyCon. I thought I was in for a miserable stay and would be putting up with obnoxious antics. I was so wrong. Everyone associated with the convention was 100% polite and respectful of both the other bronys and us civilians that

Kids will find all kinds of ways to be weird. I know, I was one in high school. That being said, I do not condone the assault aspects such as biting or scratching. Wtf. If it were me in class with some goober trying to claw at me, I’d just start bringing a spray bottle to class and nail ‘em right between the eyes.

most of those parents are fighting mask mandates and getting vaccinated.

I'm going to throw out a totally made up, but probably correct statistic: 90% of those kids never took drugs.

I currently work with a white guy who is somewhat competent but mostly a dickhead. He’s super controlling when it comes to work and very condescending to women. He has no emotional intelligence whatsoever.

Same. I kept my married last name after divorce because it’s the same name as my three kids and the name I used professionally as an attorney for 10 years, it’s my name.

I’m guessing it has to do with his Y chromosome.

It definitely seems like she wanted to move into a rock/industrial space with her music. She openly said at the VMAs one year that the main performance she wanted to see was Nine Inch Nails, and she collaborated with Jonathan Davis for the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. It’s an interesting what-if.

If an anti-masker tries to grab my mask, they are going to catch hands.

Should we expect a follower of cadet bone spurs to be anything but a feckless coward?

I’d trade Kelly and Weinstein to get her back.  I just listened to one of her albums and we lost a lot when that plane crashed.

Any big sister will tell you that she obviously dropped it on purpose - it simply meant more to Kit, and Dottie was always going to take care of her in whatever way was necessary.

Opinion of the mom of 17 yo daughter who watched a lot of Disney/ Nick: Wizards of Waverly Place and Selena Gomez were the best of Disney. iCarly close second.

Probably telling the truth. She could be proud of her work at Disney and not psyched about signing into an expansive contract when she was really young that limited her film and music options for a while as an adult.

Among the greats, Charlie Watts was one of the good ones. He was a fantastic jazz musician who just happened to be rock royalty. And Watts was effortlessly cool in an unpretentious way that few rock stars ever are. (The world’s most dapper rock star?) He was also married to the same woman since 1964. Here’s a recent pi

My sister was a stellar “show choir” performer in Southern California in the early aughts and just RECENTLY my mom told her, for the first time, that Disney called her senior year and wanted her to audition or whatever. My mom shut them down and never said a word to my sis, who was an A+ student on her way to an

I’ve gone back and forth over the years but after reading an article about the movie by Katie Baker I’m now firmly in the ‘not on purpose’ side. The movie was based on a documentary of the same name that was produced by the son / nephew of the characters that inspired Dottie and Kit. He had this to say about if the

Bit of unrelated trivia: Racine, Wisconsin did indeed have a women’s team, and my mother was the youngest player on their farm team. She was an excellent athlete (I didn’t inherit that, but my sister did).

If you play singles tennis and want to throw the game to your sister, have at it. If you play for a baseball team, with some fifteen other “sisters” to consider...nope.
