Maybe it’s my American sensibilities kicking in, but is 15 really an adequate age of consent?

Met at school where she was his drama teacher, 40, married with three kids.

she asked if she could JOIN HER BROTHER and husband in sex. HER BROTHER? AND SHE POSTED THAT SHIT!!!!!!!

He’s clearly an abusive fuck who probably beats his wife and kids. The over the fucking top unhinged emotions he showed when in a public government setting were certainly only the tip of the iceberg of his tantrums.

It seems that when doing background checks, the government really wants to talk to someone who lived with you.

To me, as a woman, there is a difference between meeting someone at a bar or out socially vs on the train/ tube/ street. When I am just going about my business trying to get from Point A to Point B, I do not want to be asked out by a random man or hit on. If I am out socially, I may be in the frame of mind to meet

yeet them into a black hole.

Totally agreed on his behavior at the hearing. He could have even continued to deny the allegation calmly but he was so angry at the thought of being denied what he thought he was entitled to that he lashed out like a petulant child.

I agree that it was credible and that it wasn’t likely to sink the nomination on its own, given that it was high school behavior. What should have sunk the nomination was his reaction to it, which was that she was lying and he didn’t drink too much and it was a conspiracy against him and yelling and crying and saying

I watched the hearing, I remember being absolutely shocked by his conduct. He was completely unhinged and came off guilty as fuck.

His behavior should have disqualified him alone, but you gotta get those sweet conservative SC votes I guess.

I was contact once by the FBI. I was surprised, and even more surprised to hear they wanted to interview me about a former roommate I’d had about 3 years earlier. I hadn’t had contact with him in any of that time, either. But I guess I was on some form somewhere as having lived with him and so here I was in a Peet’s

I’d vote for them to be taken out of the country.

I’ve been listening to “The Daily” podcast, and found several episodes covering his nomination and the hearing.

i wish him and the cult lady could be taken off the supreme court...

I read somewhere that police procedural dramas, even though they’re not realistic at all, reinforce people’s perceptions that the police are a good thing.

I’ve never seen anyone addicted to anything as much as powerful people are addicted to the police. They just can’t get enough police, no matter how much the police fuck up. I mean, Bernie Sanders of all people, BERNIE SANDERS, wants to give police more money! I have no idea what makes so many people think giving more

*beats head repeatedly off desk, causing the cat to question the logic of keeping me alive*

The follow-you-home is the worst. I lived in a rough neighborhood in my early 20s (rough for northern CA anyway) where you basically had to cruise up and down for 15-20 minutes to find street parking because there were so many apartment buildings. My building didn’t have enough spaces, so unless the parking fairies

I just wanted to chime in to say I lived in London for awhile, and I was approached (accosted) on so many trains, or on the street stepping out even in daylight so many times. A friend of mine who is very beautiful went there, about, a year or two ago, for an acting class - and she texted me how crazy it was the

The only thing that keeps me going some days is the memory of my son’s 4th-grade teacher asking back a former student (my daughter) to read “I Am Jazz” to the class. She was in 7th at the time and the teacher had seen her go from cheerful boy to withdrawn and miserable boy to happy and confident girl. My daughter
