The file gives examples that are so, so much worse even than what the article describes. Like telling a staffer out of the blue that it would be a shame if he accidentally ran over her son, that he doesn’t need to follow laws because he has the Bible, talking about what underwear his wife supposedly prefers, calling

It’s the lips. Nope, nope, nope.

Because she did a photoshoot with a world-famous phootgrapher where you can see her nipples, she deserved to be harassed and bullied on national TV? C’mon man, do better.

What gets me when I hear stuff like the headline is that I assume this choad must have done something so overtly heinous, like trying to grope a ten year old in front of cameras on the Capitol steps, that they HAVE to respond—and it’s always simply another incident like the ones he’s been piling up for the last decade

That picture.

It would be more shocking if he hadn’t honestly. because wtf is this???

Five bucks says he’s raped someone. Why isn’t COVID taking down useless Neanderthals like this one?

As a solid Gen-Xer I know I’m not her target market, and I don’t listen to a lot of new music, but I really like her stuff. And of what I’ve seen of her in interviews and such, she seems like she’s got a pretty good head on her shoulders. I wish her the best and I suspect I’ll end up watching this eventually.

Normal is a societal construct. It’s not ‘normal’ in a lot of societies to smile, that’s a largely a trait of USA. She owes us nothing, and how she chooses to express her emotions in life is not up to us. And it is not up to us to dictate what those emotions are. Yes wishing someone happiness is good, but saying they

I’ve almost - almost - gotten to the point that when someone on tv says “the president” I don’t immediately look for the remote to cut off the sound.  It’s going to take a while to recover from trump PTSD.

I had a trumper friend. It would be so weird. She’d start railing on and on about some political issue and I’d correct her. She’d look it up, realize I was right, and change her opinion... but it never lasted. Like, the NEXT day, she’d be right back at the exact same point, as though going to sleep was a a hard rest

Good. She’s a garbage person who deserves to be miserable for the rest of her life just like he does, so I’m glad that these two people who clearly hate each other are stuck being married.

Re: best dress at the occasion—totally agree! She looks like a very high-fantasy-esque queen. Totally perfect garb for one of the rulers of Wakanda. ;) It’s nice to see her looking so stunning despite all that grief. No matter how fancy my clothes, I wouldn’t have been able to keep it together half so well.

I appreciate brevity of of expression, though I rarely manage to practice it myself.  Holland Taylor nailed it for anyone who has ever been in love.

I’m not one of those tough guys that refuses to cry. I have a tough time with grief. Both my own and seeing it in others. So it was tough watching that video of Taylor accepting the award on her husband’s behalf. Glad I did though.

There’s two parts to it. People used to argue about “politics”, but they were often arguing about actual issues. Now it’s not just left vs. right, but we’re arguing about bullshit instead of real issues.

I can only speak for myself of course, but when life is tough, watching True Crime helps me get outside of my own problems. I really like the ones that spend time creating a picture of who the people involved were and what the story arc of their lives were like. I empathize with the victim’s families and my sadness

Um...it’s a primetime interview. With Oprah. When you have a business (or more) to promote, a ton of malicious bad press, and an entire media ecosystem heavily invested in your downfall, you need a life profile appearance like this to even the playing field. You need to make sure your appearance is more prominent than

Murder shows make the best nap shows.  They’re usually very monotone and quiet. Perfect napping background noise.  Soothing, even.

Why are they so addictive? My partner makes fun of me all the time for watching them. He’s like, you’re such a feminist, why do you watch these shows where women get murdered or abused?? Maybe it reinforces my belief that I made the right choices in my life because I’m not dead?? I don’t know!
