I get the conspiracy theories, I do... but see me response to @Steezy McFresh. Privacy while using Siri, I would think, would have been one of the major issues facing the implementation of the technology.

And really, if you think about it, "raise to speak" is the most effective way to use Siri. Can you imagine if that function was not available? Sure you could use one of those mic/headphone deals or a bluetooth headset, but I'd think the vast majority of people would be walking around talking aloud to their phones…

Did you read the article? The 4S possesses hardware not found in any other iPhone specifically for Siri that Apple wanted to reserve the Siri experience for.

It's called advancement in technology. Was the horse cart companies completely incompetent and a total failure when the automobile came along? Magazine/Print companies failures with the introduction to tablets?

The screen seems real cramped - I tried tapping out some text in a Google search on my friend's iPhone 4s (tapping? lol - I realized in that moment I love Swype on Android) and that damn screen is tiny! Sure it has the densest pixel ratio, but it's fucking tiny, that's why!
