Android doesn't suck, the Infuse might. Do some homework next time. If you are having technical difficulties, contact your carrier. sheesh

I'm on Sprint just like you and just like you, I had the Palm Pre and then various Android phones. Unlike you, though I did not fall prey to the Apple propaganda. My Android phones worked perfectly. I rocked the Evo 4G, went to the Evo 3D, but decided instead on the Photon 4G.

"Swype wouldn't work on the EVO unless you're talking about the rooted version of an EVO."

Wow... please change the batteries on your Sarcasm Detector ASAP!

I believe that wasn't the first time something failed in a demo - Even in Apple demos, there were hiccups, but I digress. Actually, the service works very well according to many tech sites that had a chance to try it out (engadget comes to mind).

Calm down, I did mention it was a tired internet meme, no?

Something like facial recognition a la Android could fix this in a jiffy - but then who'd be copying who then?? (sorry, I couldn't help but make that tired but current meme)

The readings don't change significantly, but that's relative. Say you have a ton of people in New York with devices equipped with barometers, and you have a ton of people in New Jersey with the same. The differences in each group's readings could and should mean something, no? I would think there would be some

As if they hadn't before, right? Keep drinkin' that koolaid...

While all the nay-sayers are worried about the glass being half empty, I say at least there will be some data, more than there would be otherwise. And regardless, I'm sure some metrics could be placed to account for movement. I say, if there were enough of these devices around, the compounding benefit would far

I think HTC is also looking to throw its "Sense" into the mix which is better or for worse however you wanna look at it... (worse for me)...

Yes

Oh my damn... I just read the battery is not swappable - INSTANT deal breaker for me... sorry Moto! And I have your Motorola Photon 4G!!

One quick tip: in March or so of this year, Google announced that all of their OEMs would work together to bring a more unified experience (read: get updates out to customers more timely) so I wouldn't be surprised if ICS is already being prepped for this phone...

um... 8MP and 1080p recording... it was covered in the liveblog

Well seeing a big fruit or a grid of icons on my phone doesn't do it for me either

8MP with 1080p recording

"Why do all Android smartphones have that bulge?"

I'm curious as to who really needs who... I mean the article mentions Apple's one of Samsung's largest customers, but could Apple really do without Samsung? I mean, Apple really covered its back when it bought that chip manufacturer, but still aren't a lot of components in the iPhone/iPad/iTouch still made by Sammy?

Never mind... over posting... sorry!
