This is why I'm loving Android at this point. Multiple ROMs to choose from and Android actually makes it very easy to switch to and from them easily. If something goes wrong, there's built-in ways to restore your device... easy-peasy-Apple-squeezy...
@beentold: Yeah... in many ways, we trail behind Europe... =/
@Patrick Van: What's ironic about your statement is iOS 4 and the iPad introduced very similar fragmentation you are trying to pin as an "only-Android" problem. There are apps and functions only available to iOS 4 devices and iPads (and vice versa). But this is considered "magical" and "revolutionary" within the…
@dcdttu: How did you do it and what are you using? I'm very curious about rooting my Evo... I so wanna try Froyo...
@ihityouinthenose: I thought MSG curbs your appetite and discourages people to overeat
@Hearthatvoiceagain: Ah I c - coo coo
@Hearthatvoiceagain: What "intended purpose" can't be made use of on the "defective" hardware were you referring to?
Android has been the best experience for me on any smartphone to date. Coming from WebOS and WinMo devices, I love the unlimited customization, the amount of info I can get at a glance, and the hardware on my Evo is just gorgeous. While I haven't tried iOS, the walls of icons on the iPhone really seem like a step…

FaceTime is gimped 'cause AT&T won't allow it to be used over its network. Tethering is available, but at extra cost. …
@mookster: I came from WebOS to Android, and while the multitasking is much different in Android, it isn't that bad. And with much more functionality in Android (like widgets, deeper app functionality, and customization), I'm not missing WebOS that much.
There are great apps in the marketplace that curb battery consumption. No need for something like this...
@gizgizgiz: I show iPhone toting coworkers my widgets on my android phone and they look back at their walls of icons and whine...
That survey is pretty ridiculous. Nearly every category has an Apple product in it. What? No love for HTC Evo, the world's first 4G phone? Zune HD? Lame...
And yet the iPhone 4 still manages to drop more calls than the 3GS with its "revolutionary" antenna...
All operating systems have vulnerabilities. It's a fact of life.
They're doing exactly what their new marketing campaign demands. They're "Rul[ing] the Airwaves"
"it's more evidence that people need unlimited data plans"
