Congratulations on the baby! My best to you and your whole family and, sending extra strength to your daughter.

Good point. I plan to be diligent about scooping and, a covered tray would work in our place. However, I have options and can always work around that.

Oh, I never will! Our future kitty will be clawed. Would rather deal with that. I heard it was like someone cutting our (human) nails off.....at the knuckle.

Very important details as we plan on being condo dwellers and, will need to work around small space, even if we moved to a two-bed. Anything that absorbs smell is a huge bonus. A few people have mentioned A&H cat litter. Will do our research before we buy any mats. Thank you for the advice! Everyone on this thread has

Oh my goodness, what a charming and handsome cat! We defiantly want to get a shelter cat, even if they are a bit older. Thank you for the idea about the IKEA bag. We have those and, along with a mat, would keep the house clean. Years ago I had a roommate with an elegant cat whose favorite toy was my lesson plan. Black

Hmmm. Not sure if a cat door is possible. We could replace a door in the patio but, I am a bit worried about our backyard. There is a creek about five feet away from our patio. There is a steep incline but, I would still worry. There is also the issue of bears and, apparently, coyotes. We live in a semi-suburban area

I had to laugh at the ‘Stinky Butt Cat’ as I can totally imagine cats giving owners the side eye. I am concerned about chemicals in clumping litter and, as you mentioned, cats then licking their feet. I think a covered box is best and, glad to see most people agree.

Always good advice. I had a rabbit in school and, while not a cat obviously, scooping every day was essential. A few people have mentioned Swheat Scoop, actually.

Greetings,Fabulous Folks of SNS.

I love this! The way the rug, chair, and curtains come together is fantastic! Very professional.

We are so glad to hear this. You are your greatest priority right now. Yes, this is really fantastic!

I am so, so, so, sorry. Greatest condolences to you and your family.

I am so, so, so proud of these incredible young people. It gives me hope for the new generation of voters, law-makers, presidential candidates, teachers, advocates, activities, you name it, they are the future. Emma Gonzales is a marvel. They all are, really. They deserve not only a better future, but a better now.

I miss Sasheer Zamata.

Will be buying my own copy as soon as it hits the stands.

Glad I waited till I got home from work so I could cry into my oven baked pizza. Shared on FB so everyone could cry with me.

I’ve not read her essay collection yet but, after ‘My Life’ I’ve put it on my ever-growing ‘To Read’ list.

So tiny! SO PRECIOUS!!!!! I want one.

What a soft kitty, good kitty.

I finished Gloria Steinem’s ‘My Life On The Road’ not too long ago and, no matter how you feel about her, is well worth the read. I just got through Alastair Reynolds ‘Elysium Fire’ while working through George Eliot’s ‘Middlemarch.’ A space opera and intimate study of provincial British life and manners may seem
