And what would you tell your sons?

Obviously getting helplessly drunk is unsafe for anyone, though often understandable - many people, especially young newer drinkers, do not know their own tolerances. But yes, it’s dangerous, including in and of itself.

Also like... that’s pretty much saying that all men are rapists at heart. Which I do not believe for an instant.

Why are these columns never asking men to stop drinking so much that they cannot control their rape on/off switch?

No you see, bi people (especially bi men) don’t exist so you have to be exclusively attracted to vag or peen for your entire life no take-backs.

A lot of affordable housing, historically speaking, was actually exactly like this. Companies built housing for their employees.

And then Starbucks will build living quarters upstairs of every Starbucks. It’ll be an “innovative” way to improve the living situation. And so convenient too as the rent will be automatically deducted from their paychecks.

I thought that this season of OITNB showed that really perfectly. They protect their own, which makes them not good either. They have to start standing up and saying “no I won’t protect you” or they can’t be trusted anymore than the ones who would purposely hurt those they are supposed to protect.

The headline seems very matter-of-fact to me. I don’t see how it’s making fun.

Presumably, a Sanders endorsement would only serve to sway Sanders’ supporters toward Clinton for the general election. But why do you even want these supporters?

This is a hilariously dumb comment, I think I might be impressed if it was meant as a troll.

What I’d really like to see is him campaigning for her. Maybe he’ll start after the convention. An endorsement is nice, but actually getting out there to drum up support would be orders of magnitude better.

I work for the government and even we are allowed to participate in politics as long as we don't do it during office hours or in our capacity as government employees.

My way: no bullets. You don’t get a firearm until you’re on the job for one year or 2500 hours. You can have a taser and your more seasoned partner can have a firearm. Rookies don’t get/need guns until they’ve proven themselves and have experience.

I’m a white lady and I get anxious every time a cop is driving behind me. I don’t know how POC handle it, because they are infinitely more likely to be harassed, abused, murdered, for doing nothing. It’s really scary out there :(

I honestly wonder if the cop is afraid the victim will live long enough to testify. There is no other reason, with the resources available to them, that they never seem to call for immediate medical care.

I believe that whole heartedly, but it happens everywhere. Look at the Catholic Church same exact thing. Stop protecting people who don't deserve your protection

That’s why the departments themselves don’t keep those records.

What you’re looking for doesn’t exist. Private projects like www.fatalencounters.org is the best we have.
