IDK, probably not recently but she wasn’t always wealthy (in fact she was very poor growing up) so I’m sure she has.

Absolutely. I like tattoos but I don’t think I could date someone who was stupid/thoughtless enough to get anything tattooed on their face let alone someone’s name.
If I had to guess I’d say that someone she sold to got caught and gave her up for a reduced sentence.
She probably signed an “intent to parent” contract at some point.
“can you even imagine how pissed you’d be if a fellow juror pooped the bathtub like this right at the finish line?”
I went camping and hiking with my parents *and* with my GS troop. They were both fun but they were also completely different experiences.
I was once crying so hard in gym (maybe 4th grade) that I actually ran into the wall and got a bloody nose as I was trying to flee to the library*. I couldn’t tell you exactly why I was crying except that there was a group of boys who bullied/teased me all through elementary school and I’m sure they’re the reason I…
I read it that the little boy started crying because someone yelled that it wasn’t his happy meal.
That is absolutely horrifying. Also, how did holding you against your will like that not count as kidnapping?
She must have been really terrible for them to demote her all the way out of administration. I’ve heard of principals being demoted to vice principals but never to classroom teachers.
Your poor niece :(
That makes complete sense.
Like in a joking way or is she serious?
My mom’s stepmother was a doctor so she was the one called into the school to answer questions. It’s been more than 50 years and I think my mom still hasn’t completely recovered.
My mom baptized me in our local lake because she didn’t want to have to join a congregation. Apparently it’s something any lay person is supposed to be able to do “in case of need” or something. That was probably stretching the definition of “need” but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Are there not any Unitarian Universalist congregations near you? Not as much pageantry as the Catholics but very involved in social justice and welcoming to all (even atheists). http://www.uua.org/
When people ask my mother why she’s no longer a practicing Catholic her answer is “12 years of Catholic school”
They look like Ikea chairs.
That’s what I figure. Josh lost his job over this (as well he should have) and I can’t imagine he’s going to be able to get another anytime soon. Due to the way she was raised and (not) educated I can’t imagine she’s got much in the way of marketable skills and even if she did that would require finding childcare for…
He’s specifically said to watch this space and twitter. Since I don’t do twitter watching here will have to be enough. As for BCO that’s great if he retains the intellectual property rights and can continue it somewhere else.
