Spicy food, caffeine, and denial. Hot & sour soup + diet coke + “oh, no, I’m not actually sick.”

So I succumbed to the pressure of the As Seen on TV aisle at CVS and purchased a vegetable spiralizer. I tried it today, and it is actually pretty good! I just got one of the handheld, cone-shaped ones, not the kind with a crank.

Damn, is this gonna be hard to watch. The book was impressive, the way the author created and maintained a 5-year-old’s voice consistently, and let the reader’s own assumptions and understandings bring the horror. I’ll see it, but oof.

Screw reboots, I’ve long said that an all-Aaron Spelling cable channel would be ratings gold.

After my sister had her wisdom teeth removed, the next morning she came downstairs and had a handprint bruise on her face. Like, the dentist needed to grip that hard for leverage. Kinda looked like that.
