FYI for people who want spoilers about Kurt on Glee:
@Dauphine Who Must Not Be Named: Sounds fair.
@Dauphine Who Must Not Be Named: Aww. If you lived anywhere near me, I would say come with me and my friends.
@Kit Cloudkicker: I know! I'm really fed up with Glee for a lot of things, but if they keep doing this romance so well, I'll hang on.
@Kit Cloudkicker: YES. I LOVE. I can not wait for these two to get together, it's going to be such an epic TV romance.
In a couple hours Roommate will be home and I will have to pounce on him when he walks in the door to harass him about giving us his rent money and about cleaning the garbage and goddamn cigarette smell out of his bedroom. I've talked to him about it once a week for three weeks and he hasn't done shit, even thought he…
Ugh. Ghostwriting is nothing new, but I assume that the people who write the Warriors books or write as James Patterson get paid a lot better than this. And Patterson's ghostwriters even get shared credit. This is gross, and books shouldn't exist simply as a vehicle for a movie.
@Penny: The previous commenter is right, it was self-published. I think a lot of things might go unnoticed by Amazon if they're self-published or sold as used, so maybe Amazon needs a better filter or a different policy on this type of thing, if they don't want it ending up on their site.
I am Rachel's unimpressed expression.
@Sputnik_Sweetheart: I just read that from the link in the article. It's shocking how ignorant she seems.
@sixiebubs: Oh, I gotcha, I thought you just didn't know which category Glee was in. I agree, it feels weird for him to be nominated for a comedy, because his scenes are so serious.
@foodbaby: THAT'S where I've heard this before! God, I loved Christopher Pike books.
@b33g33: Yup, Rowling has said many times that Enid Blyton was one of her favorite authors growing up.
@sixiebubs: He was nominated this year, along with Mike O'Malley, and he was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy.
@mahvelousmeat: I agree with you, I would just like to see it addressed, since we really haven't even heard Rachel TALK about sex this season. It's fine if she chooses not to, or just isn't ready to yet, but it was so refreshing to see a character not afraid to talk about sex and admit that she might want it, too. I…
@Kate Tastrophe: Normally I would agree with you, but this guy harasses and humiliates Kurt in public every day. I don't really have a problem with what Kurt and Blaine did.
@bobella is owltastic!: YES. I want him to win an Emmy this year!
@DorothyWordsworth: They might be thinking of this incident from last year where Amazon was "deranking" a lot of GLBT books that were deemed to be "adult material". GLBT books were targeted over hetero erotica, but by no means did Amazon stop selling erotica as a genre.
@nansense: Agreed. And FYI, Amazon was pulling some gay erotica titles not so long ago — I think last year. It caused a big uproar and I lost respect for them then.
@BioLady: No, I agree. I just mean that in the first season she seemed very open about sex — and this season all we get is Finn talking about how she "won't put out" and Rachel telling him, "you've been a good boy, so here, touch my boob". It seems like a pretty drastic change in attitude. Even in the "Like A Virgin"…
