Oh, I know (lawyer here), and also Trump simply isn’t clever enough to plan even one step ahead.

I have a friend who thinks Giuliani is involved now as Trump’s way of setting up an appeal based upon ineffective assistance of counsel ahead of time, and while I don’t think that’s true, it’s hard to argue.
