A lot of the Milestone superheroes like Icon and Rocket will be returning to prominence when DC reboots the Dakatoverse. I don’t know what age range those comic will be targeted at though.

Other comics I recommend are the new Iron Man, helmed by a black teen, and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Two great comics with strong black female leads

My first Black heroes were Bruce Leroy from the Last Dragon and Ben from the Night of the Living dead remake. I seriously want to dress up as Bruce Leroy or Sho Nuff every Halloween. Ok, any day.
