Eccleston really deserved better.
However. Remember the Marvel One-Shots? Remember how insanely great they were?
I love that not only was he incredibly prescient about that in Yoda, but he also wrote The Saga Begins before the first prequel came out, basing it all on internet spoilers. I’m not a Star Wars guy, so I don’t know if it was 100% accurate, but damn it if it doesn’t seem to jibe with what happened in the Lego Star Wars…
I can only assume Team Flash first runs into Katee’s character at their local Starbucks (Jitters is closed for renovation).
If they’re using the Elfman theme, they have to be brain dead not to use the John Williams’ when Supes inevitably appears. Those first 5 notes could bring the house down
Well, I heard my friends really got in a mess, so I’m gonna have to leave Yoda I guess.
You can say that, but BATB and Jungle Book were huge hits.
Yes! If you like high fantasy the Stormlight Archive should be high on your list.
He really really really wanted Oathbringer out this year and focused most of the first part of the year on it. It was just the previous year where he dropped 3 or 4 full books in a year.
Have you read any of Sanderson other works?
I’ll see y’all in the Reddit forumns 24 hours after Oathbringer drops, ranting insane new Cosmere theories.
Is that really all you have to say about Oathbringer? I’ve been waiting for this book for years.
It’s been two amazing books so far and I’m really looking forward to the third. Def a must read.
It is my favorite series, so I am biased. I recommend the audiobooks if you are into that. If you arent certain if you like Sanderson, then try the Mistborn trilogy first. It is much less of a time investment.
I will say that Stormlight Archive actually does progress and doesn’t just linger. Reading the first book I…
“Winter of Ice and Iron” sounds like the Asylum rip-off of A Song of Ice and Fire.
Been a longtime coming but stormlight book 3 is finally in sight. Sanderson has only improved as a writer in the last several years. This should be his best yet.
True. But this is Sanderson. So even at 3x the length, the writing will be so fast-paced and entertaining that it will take you about an equivalent amount of time. At least that is how it worked for me with the Mistborn series.
Can’t wait for Oathbringer.
