Disney (through ABC) actually owns a 30% stake in Hulu, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

Freeform can’t find room on the schedule for New Warriors, huh? I think I know a show they can cancel.
Luke tossed away his green one in the Death Star shortly before getting zapped. Probably didn’t pick it back up on his way out.
She literally is handing him the light saber at the end of the last movie.
Rocket should definitely be making fun of Stark’s “advanced tech” the whole time, then gush over how really advanced Black Panther’s stuff is
Anna Maxwell Martin has been cast as Beelzebub, while Mireille Enos, Yusuf Gatewood and Lourdes Faberas have been cast as War, Famine and Pestilence, respectively.
In Cavill, we have an excellent Superman and an excellent Clark Kent, but we do not have the storylines or scripts he deserves. The problem with MoS and BvS is that while they have much of the details of Superman nailed down, they have no understanding of the spirit, which is the important part.
You mean the way you complain how people call Synder’s Superman a socipathic murderer then call Donner’s Superman a “mind rapist” in the same breath? Like that?
Now you know the Murderverse is truly over that he feels free enough to say this.
Meanwhile I sat through Suicide Squad and could not understand how it ever came to be.
“Suicide Squad exists and is in general reviewed as a terrible movie, IT STILL WON AN OSCAR.”
Honestly, Cavill is probably the most affected by the direction the DCEU is taking (aside from, you know, the fans) - his character got trampled and killed in the second movie. Hopefully we get a faithful adaptation of Superman by Cavill.... at some point?
I really REALLY hope he gets another solo Superman movie with a different director. He’s got all of the acting skills and charm to pull off reporter Clark, the real Clark, and Superman, but Snyder forced him to be broody moody.
Worldwide BvS only made 872 million on a budget of $250-$300 million. Yeah, it made money, but I wouldn’t call it a huge financial success for 3 of the most recognizable superheros in this day and age. When the first Guardians actually made brought in more money for the studio.
Sorry DC fans, but it looks like it’s reboot time again.
I can’t even be in the same room as Event Horizon. My dad and I saw it in the theater thinking it was going to be a regular sci-fi movie (starring Sam Neill!). Boy was I wrong. My dad thought it was dumb as hell but I was terrified the entire time. A few years later it was on loop on the campus movie station for a…
For those of us of a certain age, the child catcher of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the face we see as Death approaches.
The original Halloween.
My favorite part about this nonsense is how Gunn still didn’t bother defending BvS in the slightest, just pointed out that nobody was going to convince anyone else, and that he was sick of the bickering. LOL.
I just think it didn’t do a good enough job making me care about Batman or Superman or why they’re fighting. The story was just kinda weak (though it had some good ideas), and I think that’s why the darkness feels offputting, because it’s hard to like a movie that’s both bleak and lacking in substance.
