How do we feel about Ron Perlman for Cable?
My strong preference for casting Cable is Stephen Lang, and that has been my view from before he volunteered. He was something as the grizzled-but-fit hardass Colonel Quaritch in Avatar. Whatever one thinks of that movie (I enjoyed it), he was memorable.
So the best thing would be if Cable continually blinks in and out of time, coming back as a different actor throughout the movie.
Sean Bean would be great. One problem, though: Cable survives everything.
