i blocked any mention of BTS from appearing in my Twitter feed and it’s much better for it. from the tweets i saw from “BTS Army” members, they seem like a rabid cult, with their fanaticism only rivaled by Forever Trumpers or, like, WBC.

i wish everyone with even the slightest means and desire to leave America could, or that there was some initiative to simply help people get out. (unless there is one, and i overlooked it, in which case: my bad.)

you can probably blame that on some unfortunate people currently in power... especially in writing, it feels akin to “if she wasn’t my daughter i’d be trying to date her.” i doubt it sounded like that at all in the actual context/moment though; it can just as easily be an innocent thing to say.

at least with their choice, they might have the benefit of getting to spend precious time doing something worthwhile instead of listening to him blather on. here’s hoping they don’t even watch it, and go have a nice dinner or do whatever they’d enjoy most.

maybe i’m just feeling hopeless given the total failure of any attempts to actually hold The Useful Idiot(s) accountable for something but... it’s better than nothing? what else can be done, really? we’re all on a sinking, burning ship at this point, so even small displays of protest seem commendable.

i had to use Incognito mode in Chrome; i assume it’s because of my ad-blocker.

i saw it and enjoyed it enough, as much as you could enjoy something like that; it wasn’t movie of the year or anything, but as usual, a lot of the speculation and criticism was either wrong or overblown.

hey, Husbando-Capture games are also a (pretty great) thing. of course there are some that take it too far/to weird places, but collecting cute characters is fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

probably the right attitude. it's just one meal and there's always something interesting to get there.

i returned from Tokyo late last year so i have some saving to do before i go back, but i am totally making some of these sometime :) it does sound easy.

kinja being horrible on mobile but i agree.

i don’t have a problem enjoying things, “old people stuff” or not, it was just a ridiculous thing to say, especially from someone nearing 40. anyway, you enjoy your picking weird fights stuff! it’s not strange or bitter at all! 👋

those absolute dinosaurs over 25 😂

“i see your point about how i’m being wrong and ridiculous right now but i’m gonna keep it that way, kthx"

or just stop making wild comments about movies you haven't seen and know little about.

same... a lot of it seemed to be a combo of the same Twilight criticism that followed Pattinson, and the never-ending need to discuss and criticize women that don’t emote or smile as much as the public would like. but, it seems like both should have died down by now, and she still gets some negative articles and

ah, i see. yeah, totally agreed then.

She’s a young woman who is doing incredibly well, doing her own thing, and being very vulnerable and honest about mental health and the weirdness that comes with being a teenager in the public eye. Y’all sound old and jaded.

i think i actually prefer 2011 Kristen Stewart (or anytime Kristen Stewart, i loved her in Underwater) but i’m sure that’s just because it was relevant around the time i was young enough for Twilight and other things to appeal to me. can see the comparison, though :) .

i can accept that both the music and fashion are simply not “my thing” (except her hair, which i actually really like), but i’m unable to see the profound brilliance in her words and every move that so many other people gush about when her name comes up. i think it’s fine that she’s not 100% eloquent and perfect all
