Yup, exactly. I am clearly old and grumpy now but the cars I’m driving these days are a lot slower and lower-grip than what I used to have, yet I don’t seem to arrive anywhere any later or having had less fun. I love that Dodge does 700+ and 800+bhp factory builds, I love that you can get a 10sec car with a

Officially relieved of any Jalop status. Some people just arent meant to understand cars.

That’s no where NEAR the same thing....hell most modern cars will automaticlaly disengage the compressor when you go WOT for taht purpose.

This...this is different. It seems that it allwows you to select:
“Pump air-conditioned (re: cold, dense, engine-happy air) air into the super charger for even more power.”
or
“Use

I rented a 2012 R/T (small hemi) a few years ago, and I had a similar experience. I was a Saab guy for years, and found that R/T handled the roads back home in Vermont almost as well as my turbo. Color me shocked. Liked it enough that when I got back to the States in the fall of 2014, I special ordered a Scat pack as

I think that the cameras, should be on the entire time they’re being worn, and officers shouldn’t be allowed to turn them off, let alone even have that option.
I bet you would see more of this.

It can be more rewarding, sure. But dodge didn’t just build a 10 9 second car. They built one to last. 95% of drag cars running those times pale in comparison when it comes to reliability. Dodge built something that could probably handle high 7s, just so it could be bulletproof at mid 9s.

Something like that. Ford and Chevy are battling to make the best American sports car, Dodge is making muscle cars. I don’t think Ford or Chevy will try to ‘answer’ the Demon just as Dodge isn’t trying to compete with the ZL1 1LE or GT350R

Oops, we got caught planting evidence. To make it right, you only have to serve three years in prison.

“Only going around corners is fun, not straightaways”

Not gonna happen. Ford and Chevy are playing their own game in a different field than Dodge right now.

Except the person filming, imo.

That teacher lacks, um, a strong grasp on the English language. Though their conversational tone is certainly unique.

English instructor. Uses ‘Distain’.

Your statement scratches the surface of a deeper issue with the Bolt. It’s a $36K vehicle styled like a $14K budget compact. Even someone with an average income wouldn’t want to be opening their garage and seeing that thing. The styling alone makes you feel like you failed at life. A wealthy person wouldn’t be

The sole reason I know this car exists, is because of Jalopnik.

I think it’s because people see a price tag of ~$35k, then see the interior out of a junky 2005 Cavalier.

It doesn’t help that verbally the Volt & Bolt sound nearly the same. One’s a hybrid while the other is electric. Good way to create confusion to the general public who’s not detail oriented.

Maybe they are in the other side of the duplex from David Tracy......

How long until one of these types of videos gets someone killed? The explosive power of an airbag is well documented, and these geniuses put one in a microwave in a clearly suburban backyard. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching one thing blow up another thing, but zero effort was put into doing this safely.
