I think we as Canadians find them even funnier. It really does highlight not so much the stereotypes of Canadians and more the limited understanding of Americans of the world beyond their borders (which ironically is a stereotype in and of itself).

Vtok ... it's in the app store. Give it a try.

Ok stranger on the internet who says he works in just the right field to win his argument. I've got tons of friends with iPhone 4's not one has had a problem. And if you really do work in some line of work dealing with phones:

I'm not saying their products are error free at launch. They're built and designed by human beings after all. i wouldn't say they're notorious at launch. I've been an early adopter of several apple products and I haven't had any problems with my devices. I'm yet to succesfully replicate the "death grip" on the iPhone

If samsung is, as the title says, selling these bendy phones next year this is a close to finish prototype. Big tech companies work on prototypes well in advance. WELL in advance. If this is anything close to the final product and doesn't move beyond the gimmick, it's going to tank. I've also owned several samsung

It's not a bad idea. It's just a very incomplete design. I think this tech has huge promise... it just has a way to go. What makes Apple products great products isn't because they are merely apple products, but because they don't get passed the incubation stage until they are completely usable ... (lion excluded....

A good straight razor initially has a substantial cost, however the blade lasts forever if you keep it sharp so you're saving thousands of dollars over the years.

That's only partly correct. Smarties are like m&m's, but since we actually have m&m's in Canada they are not the same product. And m&m's are way better than smarties (imho). What the Americans call "smarties" we call "Rockets" - Exact same product.

I was just thinking to myself..."Why did I stop using the electric shaver that I bought?" and then I remembered the razor burn. Get whenever I use the flipping things regardless of how expensive it was.

A little here, a little there. I think that's part of the problem. We keep saying "well, that's not a significant amount, why cut it?" then we don't cut anything. Cut the small things and the big things and it adds up to huge savings.

Get your own damn silly name for your coins. Loonie is taken already.

Agreed. In Canada we killed our paper dollars. We had no choice but to use the coins. End of discussion.

reminds me of the "nubrella" that was featured on Shark Tank. It's not full body, though. I think it attaches to the shoulders somehow.

that made me think of this.

Then don't read about them. Take responsibility for what you read. Skip that article, don't click that link. You can do it if you try.

except, you know, we've been bombarded by radiation a lot longer than the presence of internet wifi:

That's awesome. That's how I hope to be with my little girl (soon to be girls)... I will always be their daddy. Thanks so much for sharing. Great example of what a dad is meant to be!

You assume because he doesn't find howard stern entertaining his alternative form of entertainment is "staring at the wall?" Yeah, I didn't get that. Although I will grant you that HS is entertaining. In the same way that herpes is entertaining.

I find Julian Assange quite disturbing. Man he gives me the creeps.
