I think they should, but skating is a fickle industry. It would be hard to convince people to pay 3-4x more for a deck (even though it would last much, much longer)

Good insoles!

Now playing

No thanks, I would miss my family too much. I recently got to skate in the Zero-G plane at 1/6 gravity so that was close enough for me:

1. Thank you very much

Would you like to go to Mars?

What’s the most important piece of technology a skater can invest in?

I use an ActionCam (Sony’s version of GoPro) while skating on occasion but that’s about it. I tried an Apple Watch for a while but it got too distracting.

That would be a question for Activision at this point.

I don’t smoke weed; I’m just old. Thanks for noticing.

I work with an on-campus group at my university researching wearable technology and its applications (things like VR, AR, wearable cameras such as GoPro, Smartwatches, etc). Do you use any wearable technologies regularly, or are you interested in any wearable technologies?

Hey Tony, I was wondering if Tony Hawks Underground 3 will ever see the day of light?

The Macbook Pro I am currently typing on. The trackpad is cracked, the screen is loose, and the keys are filthy. But I refuse to upgrade because it refuses to die.

Tony,

I have a DJI Phantom but I am the worst pilot ever. I was chasing my kids with it while they skated down the street, when it promptly hit a tree and exploded. Still works though.

Like John Madden and Madden football, there will soon be a generation of youth who only know “Tony Hawk” as the guy from the skateboard game. What are your thoughts on that?

What’s your favorite gadget of all time?

What kind of vaporizer did you use prior to taking the above photo?

Hello hello, is this thing on?

So, Tony, tell me: what’s your drone situation?
