Not many people see this, but ping is only a part of a master plan. When all their services unifies, the competition will be caught off guard, just like when the iphone came out and the eco system was ready for the onslaught.

Maybe it`s because they make great products and go a long way of making sure the customer is happy. Although they do make moves that are at first arbitrarily, but turns out they have a good reason for the most parts.

Apple usually have a good reason for holding things back. Arbitrarily? Apple? I think not. It was`nt just luck that got them here.

Network problems bode good earnings though. Still a hassle but I am sure everyone is scrambling to make bandwidth for 4S. Even with all the providers Apple is still selling too much, it seems.
