I think you SHOULD be worried about what other cars are doing on the road. Especially if they are exceeding the posted speed limit by this much. Cops of all drivers shouldn’t be speeding (unless they have their lights on) because it just encourages others to do the same. The only safe way for speeding cops to travel…
It looks like the problem could have been warn down tires a 00:22, especially at those speeds. NOT a good combination. I did this same thing in the snow in a rear wheel drive ranger. If you’re lucky you may be able to get out of it, but bald tires make it nearly impossible.
I couldn’t agree with you more.
I still don’t think the Tesla leaving that much room is an issue, and in that video that Michael Zaite shared proves that that kind of driving can help in stop an go traffic. And, that is my point to a T. Leaving lots of room in front of you in stop and go traffic seems to be very beneficial to you and the drivers…
Having way more stopping time than you need in bumper to bumper traffic doesn’t increase safety? It absolutely does. Especially in bad weather conditions. Maybe you need to go back to driver’s ed and learn some statistics on traffic accidents in bumper to bumper traffic. On or off the highway, the more space the…
Target them? It’s not war man, it’s called driving. Have you never driven in front of somebody to get into another lane? I’m betting you have and do daily. I do, and so does everyone else. Have you figured out how that is even physically possible? It’s because ether no one was there, or someone left enough room for…
I agree with you 100%. It’s people like SherriffTruman who clog up traffic and get themselves into accedents.
Perfect example! So the people in the lanes that are being “dropped” have to get over, correct? I think you can figure it out from there.
It’s called being a safe driver, you should try it sometime. To me, it sounds like you’re suggesting that we should all drive bumper to bumper so that nobody can change from lane to lane unless there is no one on the road. I, and many others, disagree with you; it’s dangerous and doesn’t help traffic flow. Driving…
I can’t say that I’ve been in a situation where leaving “too much” of a gap is a bad idea. I think It’s always a bad idea to leave too small of a gap in case the guy in front of you decides to stop short. Tesla’s technology will always use a blinker when lane changing, so you can prepare better for someone changing…
I’m confused, are you saying that the car is leaving too much room in front of it or not enough?
