I realized I AGAIN put too much faith in polling, and like last time I was watching the election results this morning/last night being like “excuse me WHAT.” Ugh

Well if its shoes then they should probably not vote for Biff and his weird kid heels.
If Democrats have a shot at passing legislation next year, they need to pass a combination package that 1)grants an explicit right to vote, 2)universal voter registration, 3)universal vote-by-mail as an option, 4)minimum requirement on voting hours and booths per number of people.
Every state should have it as easy as people do in Colorado, Washington, and Oregon, etc. Literally can fill out a paper ballot at home and either mail it or drop it off, I usually opt for dropping it off. I voted and had my vote accepted 3 weeks ago, to make it so difficult for others is pathetic and un-American.
That “feel good story” is like when somebody has donated sick days to them because the company they work for is shit and won’t cover them being off for needing surgery. That’s it, we’ve had a good run. Our social experiment is over, we can go home now. I’m sure that they’ll take us back.........right?
People around the world already know of America’s hypocrisy when we lecture about freedom and fair elections. This debacle only makes us more of a global laughingstock. Hopefully the youngs are seeing what a travesty this is and not give up but strive to make things better.
He is convinced that if Trump loses, there will be mass rioting and the cities will burn.
“The Christian Post ran dueling op-eds by Joe Biden and Mike Pence to make a case for which old white man running for president is most Godly.”
People are right to be wary because polling is an inexact science. But nearly everyone is stressing out for the wrong reason: This idea that the pollsters are going to repeat exactly the same errors they made in 2016. That’s not happening.
Boof! There it is!
That’s funny, because I’m a hard working, patriotic American who wants socialist medicine and a healthy environment for my kids and grandkids.
>”You wanted to scare kids into thinking that an adult doesn’t need help”
It’s also not a coincidence that stranger danger coincided with the rise of women in the workplace, starting in the late 1970s. What better way to shame a working mom than scaring the shit out of her with kidnapped children stories!
II can't imagine a more perfect metaphor for this entire administration. His devout cultists left standing in the cold while he jets off to the next destination.
It kills me that in the 200 plus years of Presidents before Trump, any one, maybe 2 of Trump’s indiscretions would have sunk campaigns if not outright killed political careers for a generation or two.
Loved this article. I’m right on the line between Gen X and millennial, and yes, growing up in this milieu was deeply weird and unsettling I think for all of us. I wasn’t an evangelical, I was a California foster kid kicked around between different placements, but I felt it, too. Social workers were very much aware of…
If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that when people say “I want things back to normal,” they’re part of the power structure that sees normal as someone else’s job.
If the republican-nazi party doesn’t steal another election, the reinstatement of the fairness doctrine and the shuttering of fox fakenews needs to be done immediately.
Isn’t he a self-certified eye doctor?
What exactly is worse than dead?
