I regularly do that while cooking, but NOT while baking. Cooking is art; baking is science. I’m an artist. :D

If John McCain loses in November, his wife Cindy may catch some of the blame after apparently cheating in a high stakes presidential cookie bake-off.

I mean..how many people, outside of professional chefs, make up original recipes on their own? That takes so much time and effort even for a SAHM.

Is the onus not on the owner/employees of the establishment to say “no we can’t do that.”? If I go to a restaurant that’s at the designated capacity and they seat me anyway, how is that my fault?

You got to hand it to them: they don’t just throw shit at the wall, they decorate the fucking room with it.

So YOU respond to an open call to be featured in a very famous and widely circulated magazine, you talk to the writer extensively, not on the basis of anonymity, and even participate in a photoshoot for the magazine. You post said photo on your instagram (twice), saying you look hot in it. Then you say the magazine

I’ve read through the article like three times now, and I am confused about what Brewer was told and when, and what the actual claim of wrongdoing against The Atlantic is. I get that the ultimate wrong here is supposed to be that Brewer was (in addition to being misgendered) “outed without consent by a national

You don’t get to kill someone, and then claim self-defense when you shoot bystanders who witnessed you killing someone try to disarm you so you don’t keep killing

There’s a lot to unpack there, but tossing out the old “agitators were shipped in from out of town” bit when the person he’s defending actually did come in from out of state with a rifle is particularly rich.

I’m so glad all of these government employees were here to protect me.

It’s one thing for the RNC to parade a bunch of Uncle Toms and Aunt Beckys out to be used as props to help salve the consciences of white voters who want to do racist things like vote for Trump while considering themselves not racist. Tim Scott and Ben Carson and the rest are grown adults with their own agency and if
