This is one of the few games that I enjoyed being scared by. I legit went home, turned off the lights, put on headphones, and could feel my heart beating when I hid from the Alien. It terrified me in a way I’ve never felt before, and I absolutely loved every minute of it, despite normally hating horror games.

Does anyone have good sources arguing against this Texas law? I feel like I don’t see the issues here, as I’ve heard about trans-gendered athletes upsetting the status quo, and would generally agree that biological gender matters when it comes to sports. Just looking to see both sides.

I’d go further and say to just do your own research. I’ll contribute that Firefox/Vivaldi are excellent options as well. Vivaldi is based on Chromium so you still get to use the same extension marketplace that Chrome has as well, and Edge has ways of getting those same extensions as well.

I think the combat balance is way tighter in Eternal, and due to that I enjoy Eternal’s gameplay more, but 2016 is the better game overall. Good luck, you have one of my favorite games ever made ahead of you!

Deckbuilders are always a pain to put together/tear down in real life, so I am grateful for the recent surge of digital deckbuilding games, because they are my favorite genre of card game. I also love 5TH Cell’s style, so this is an incredibly easy download.

I agree, but I think the 3D might ruin the excellent pacing of B/Ws combat. It’s still the fastest, most fluid combat in the series imo, which is why I played it more than any of the others. Hoping to be proven wrong, though.

I wonder if this has anything to do with initial reactions to the “micro” transactions across the game.  I didn’t play it, but SkillUp on YouTube did a pretty interesting write up on the game that kept me clear of it due to how bad those looked.

They’re just trying to get more money out of the PC market, and doing well at it. With the amount of Sony exclusives they’re allowing (not many), they may just be trying to get a taste for the PS library in PC gamer’s mouths to get them to buy PS5s. 

Getting an upgraded copy of the game on a new console, with different architecture (regardless of how easy you think it is), for a small fee seems pretty fair to me. They could just ask you to buy it again, like every console before now.

It’s the right mentality for the creative director to have, so I support it. Hugo has been a great director imo and I like that he’s given this thought and doesn’t want to put band-aid solutions on the idea.

I’m the EXACT same situation (general distaste for crafting survival, alcohol, and all). Something about the Shadow of the Colossus-style setup, meets survival, meets Norse mythos, just does it for me.  This has been a very fun diversion from my gaming norm.

Gotta say, I’m a fan of how she’s handled all of this.  I was unaware of how bad that meme had gotten, and especially the hate speech, but she’s seemed to know what to say and handled it exceptionally well.  Go her, I wish more streamers/Twitch icons could handle things this well.
